The first edition of Lisbon Design Week 24 - 28 May 2023 focusing on contemporary craft and design was organized in collaboration with Lisbon by Design fair taking place at the same time.
Professionals, collectors, amateurs of beautiful objects and curious minds discovered or rediscovered the city of Lisbon during 5 days of celebration of its creativity and savoir faire.
Artisans, designers, showrooms, boutiques, galleries, workshops, restaurants, hotels, museums and other institutions will open their door for a program of special exhibitions, installations, talks and presentations highlighting Portuguese craftsmanship, savoir faire and innovation.
Lisbon Design Week brings together the Portuguese design and high craft world in an international, annual and global event with the objective of promoting the expertise and creativity of its designers and craftsmen and dynamize the sector.
The Gallery curated a collection of vases by Antonio Vasconcelos Lapa and 5 unique tapestries by Vanessa Barragao, among others.
